I enjoy working with children of all ages and have had the good fortune of creating a productive learning environment by starting schools in Florida, New York and South Carolina..When I’m not involved with school activities, I enjoy time with my wife and four kids (which all are students at GREEN), playing soccer and watching NetFlix and HBO. This year will be a busy one as we are starting construction on 2 schools, one in Spartanburg and one in the Summerville area. I am excited to bring GREEN Charter to students and families across the state of South Carolina!

Malana FitzgeraldMalana Fitzgerald - Lower School Director
I have loved being a part of GREEN since it opened its doors in 2013. The growth of our school has been amazing to watch each year. Before relocating to Greenville, I spent 8 years teaching 5th grade Math, serving as a district Math Coach, and math interventionist in Raleigh, NC. At GREEN I taught 4-6th grade Math as well as Pre-Algebra before becoming the Assistant Principal 3 years ago. When not at school, I stay busy being a mom and wife. I have a 5 year old daughter who will be starting Kindergarten at GREEN this year and a 2.5 year old son. Along with my husband, we enjoy trying new restaurants and attending events around town. I believe that positive relationships are the key to learning and growing and I look forward to creating these relationships with our students and parents this year. I know it will be a fantastic year!
